Parenthood

Obadiah is a blessing.  I am a better person because of him.  I am a better person then I was because I am now a parent.  Parenthood stretches us, forces us to hold tightly to our faith, reveals our ugliness, and makes life fun, scary, joyful, and very full. I love being a mom.  It is who I am.  I am a mom.  With this blessing comes many responsibilities and one responsibility that I have been in prayer about lately is my son's education.  Some days I feel very inadequate in this department.   I want to do what is best for Obadiah.  For the past two years he has been attending a private preschool which has been perfect for him but because of the lack of Special Ed. services (speech and occupational therapy) they will not be able to meet his needs next year.  So, my first choice for his education is not an option.  Darn.  It is a loss and a disappointment but we must move on, outside our comfort zone, and seek other options.  Please pray for us and with us as we seek God's will in this matter.

 Elisabeth just recently downloaded pictures from her camera that reflect the happenings from this past summer and fall.  If anything, theses photos prove the point that we do live a good life here in Vermont.
